Looks clean for a Beta, when did you last see one in the car park as they say.
-
I think this one may have been at Betameeta 50 last year.
-
Pretty sure it wasn't at Betameet 50 - I had a good look at the very few Berlinas which were there to compare with mine. I think this one has been advertised by a dealer in East Anglia for some time (2 years or more) and at quite a bit more than the estimate here.

Yes, as mikemcd said - this has been advertised online for quite some time in either Suffolk or Norfolk.
The cool thing about this car is it was likely sold by my late grandfather in the Golf Garage, Ipswich - the Flickr post in the link below shows it with the original dealer plates, which (from the small photos in the auction post) look like these are still on the car! So may have stayed a local car its whole life?

Just found a copy of the original listing. The dealer is in Lowestoft so there's a fair chance it's stayed in Suffolk as you suggest.

Went for £5,600 (+ £448 buyers premium)

Given the estimate and the current pricing, I would think that is a fair price for a 1300 Saloon.
There was a nice Spider recently sold on Facebook for a lot less, no great surprise it went within minutes.
