Title: Ken Couzens
Post by: Neil on 29 May, 2025, 06:42:16 PM
It is with great sadness that I inform the club members the news that Ken Couzens passed away earlier this week after a short illness, an aggressive cancer. He was a long term member with his Aprilia and was a good friend of Harry Manning.

Ruth, his wife, wanted to let the Lancia community know and they would be welcome to attend his funeral at Guildford Crematorium on 25th June at 12.45pm, please bring a Lancia if you can and afterwards at the Withies Inn in Compton.

Please can you let me know if you would like to attend, neil_sims@icloud.com, then I can advise Ruth.

Yes, very sad and he was a delightful chap. Typical old-school Lancia. The Aprilia community will miss him as well

Sad lost, he was my go-to man for Aprilia parts and knowledge, a true gentleman, as Simon says, a real lost to the Aprilia community

I too am sorry to hear of Ken’s death. I have known Ken over many years and valued his knowledge of Aprilias. Ken made lots of Harry’s special tools for Aprilia and Fulvia, some of which I was pleased to have and to use.

The Club bought some of these a few years ago when Ken offered them.
