Title: Portable 12V evaporation air coolers

Hello, has anyone tried one of these water-filled devices that are powered via the 12V socket in a car?  I am thinking of taking my 2000 HF to France in a week or two and would not mind boosting its rather feeble internal fan.  If I were to buy one, I wouldn't go for the cheapest one, but I wonder whether they are worth having at all.  I'm not expecting icy aircon.

Hi humidity does not necessarily cool in the long run
