Probably a long shot but has anybody got a picture of the inner workings of the sidelight slide switch for an 820. 2000 coupe. I am having multiple lighting issues and when I took off the slide switch housing for the sidelights it all fell apart showing evidence of adhesive inside the casing. Also,looking down the end of the stalk with a torch I can see what looks like the end of an inner ‘connection’ that I think should be proud of the outer stalk in order to make the earth connection?
Alternatively, and probably easier for me, does anybody have or know of a good usable replacement switch assembly? I believe it is the same as fitted to Fulvias.
