Hi All
No real knowledge of Aurelias other than what I have read in La Lancia etc, but why would you want to pay a premium for this one over a standard one, is it me or is it just wrong (mini marcos meets aurelia)?

Maybe its just me, but if I was intending spending 165,000 Euro on a car (any car) I'd at least expect it to be spotless. The engine bay on this car is tatty to say the least, and the interior not much better.
Mini Marcos sprung to my mind as well. Sometimes, regardless of the intention, its better to leave things as they are.

I absolutely agree with you Peter.
As I understand it, this car started life as a standard 5th series B20 and was modified some 5 to 10 years later, albeit it would seem, by a very professional company. Put simply, the car was customised in the 60's to reflect contemporary car design. As such, how it could attract a premium price is beyond me. If it were a design experiment by Lancia that would be a totally different matter.

Yes - it is a Mini-Marcos! Knew it reminded me of something when I saw it. Kind of a Maxi-Marcos.

I quite like it - and could imagine it parked next to an SIII Appia. Front quarter bumpers would be nice, something not quite right in that area.
OF COURSE not as a "first and only" Aurelia - but within one of those "if you won the lottery" fantasy collections.

This went for $100000, a new height for a one off B 50 restoration project?
