One of our Irish members bought an Appia last year reg YFF248 he has no paperwork for the car . the chassis No is C10-11337 . Does anybody know anything about this . Thanks David Mirolo. :)

YFF is one of the age-related series issued by DVLA - I think that one dates from around 1996-8 time, so it's either a UK car that's lost its original number, or more likely an import from around that time. An application to DVLA quoting the vin number should produce the V5C without any hassle.

FF is also used in Wales, but cannot remember from which part of wales ???

FF was originally issued by Aberystwyth, and then transferred to Merioneth; neither borough issued many numbers, which meant there was a sizeable unissued series available for DVLA to use as age-related numbers in the 1990s (I think from LFF onwards).

Ask Don Cross.
I am pretty sure I had it for a while it was dark blue orginally had a nice number which was sold on.
It was owned by a solicter then.
It then moved to the Isle of man then a chap in Dorset had it for about 4 years . He damaged the left back door the brakes wasn't great.
I then fixed that but it was very rusty I sold it to italian guy who was going to restore it last year it was back on eBay .
Hope it helps I might have some pictures somewere.
I have plenty body panels new if his going to restore it.
