Plus 25% buyers premium (and probably VAT on to of that!) not to mention storage and shipping costs plus further admin costs.....
Nice signs though! Always wanted one, never see another as nice as these but still too expensive for a wall hanger....

That's very tempting but if he's already consigned them to auction then that's how they should be sold.
I'd half expect to see them up on eBay shortly afterwards!

Just this seem more reasonable, meets your requirements?

I like most things Aurelia and I have a large Schianna print of a B20 in my hall in the UK in the same style as the one here but I am not really sure that l like it! It is so inaccurate as to the shape of the car and in my view his style doesn't allow him to be this inaccurate.
Apparently he lives near Lozzo Atestino close to us in N E Italy and he has a Proteus C Type Jaguar like me. The difference is that he is very slow to confirm it is a replica!
On one occasion at my local very helpful Italian Motor Factors where they let me loose in their old stockroom to poke about, I was once asked if I was Schianna' s mechanic!

Not really, I would like an illuminated period original in the garage but prices are just too much on the odd occasion that they turn up...

How about this:-

At Padova this year there were (at least) 2 large illuminated 50s/60s? Lancia shield wall mounted blue and yellow signs for sale. The better one was 1,000 Euros no offers and was pretty near perfect. Very tempting.

OP items (signs) sold for £475, £312 and £312. I wonder how long before they appear on eBay? I think I'd be bidding....

Back in 1993, a FIAT dealer in the Dublin area presented me with 3-piece wall-mountable sign that had originally adorned the reception area of the FIAT Auto Ireland head office. The dealer was aware of my love of all things Lancia (I had bought a new Dedra from him the previous year) and knew I'd appreciate the sign which was no longer required by FIAT, as right-hand drive production had ceased. Beautifully made in stainless steel, it now resides in my garage. I always thought it would make a nice trophy, if a little too big for most mantlepieces....!! Doesn't it look nice against the blue carpet tiles?

Earlier in this thread there is reference to the artist Francesco Scianna.
Another of his paintings is up for auction at Anglia Auctions on November 4th - they are a bit of an acquired taste as you will see. The print we have ( a [photo of which is attached) is very similar to this one which is for sale and there is also a poster of his for sale as well.
