It seems to still be possible to get chromium plating done for a reasonable price and in a reasonable time scale in Italy.
I find I have just a few surplus caps of each of 3 types as shown in the photos.
The newly plated plain caps are £60 each + £4.20 p&p per parcel UK delivery.
The newly plated caps with new metal labelling/instructions are £75 each + £4.20 P&p per parcel UK delivery.
And I have just 2 used caps in decent condition with breathers and original labels which are £40 each +£4.20 p&p per parcel UK delivery.
