Montecarlo - Historic Taxation Classification
« on: 10 March, 2022, 09:51:10 AM »
I've already done several DVLA certificates for Monte owners confirming their date of manufacture so that they can stop paying Road Tax/VED.

Production ceased in June 1981, so come 1st April all Montecarlos will qualify. However, many were registered as late as 1983, so in order to obtain re-classification owners will need to send their V5s to DVLA with a certificate from the club and a covering letter. You can only amend your classification at the Post Office on date of registration.

If you want a certificate please contact me on dvla@lanciamc.co.uk and I'll send you a form.

Please pass this on to any Monte owners you know that don't use the Forum, bearing in mind that this is a members only service.

Any non-injection/VX Beta Coupes registered after 1981/2 are worth checking too.
