Prisma Spyder?
« on: 25 August, 2025, 02:59:46 PM »
Has anyone heard or seen of any such thing as a Spyder conversion?
The reason I ask is a question came up on my Pistonheads readers cars thread.

I asked the guy for a photo in case he's talking about a Golf or something.

Yes, there was a company- the name escapes me- that generally did Delta cabriolet conversions (circa 10 or so) back in the mid to late eighties leaving the four doors and window frames intact and a little awkward looking IMO- unlike the one off Agnelli integrale evo.

I believe they also did a couple based on the Prisma too. I've seen the Delta's in the flesh albeit not for a long time but only the Prisma in photographs.
No doubt someone can shed further light on this.

Hi, I can only show a photo of an HF Turbo conversion by HR Owen - gives an idea - I agree it's a little awkward. The photo is from an advert c2020 that I saw ....
