National Rally 2023
« on: 27 March, 2023, 07:01:28 PM »
If you haven't yet seen the launch of this year's National Rally in Viva Lancia!, here's a PDF of the event details.

I've also created a digital version of the booking form which you can complete, save and email back to nationalrally@lanciamc.co.uk

Last year we had to rely on cancellations from another group to find enough rooms, so please don't wait to get your booking in.  Full refunds are available up to the booking deadline, so your deposit is secure.

If you only want to attend Sunday's Lancia Festival, please do still complete a form so we can plan the logistics, parking spaces and lunch provisions accordingly.

Hope to see you all there!

Mark

Celebrating 90 years of Augusta, 70 years of Appia, 60 years of Fulvia, 50 years of Strato's.

Come for the weekend or just come for the Sunday. If the latter please let the organiser Mark Hall (contact details in VL National Rally spread and booking form)
Its not the winning but taking part! or is it taking apart?

Some exciting news!

We have been able to persuade Josh Goode, the driving force behind the forthcoming "Vincenzo Lancia and the Birth of Modern Motoring" film, to be our after-dinner guest speaker on Saturday night!
In his own words,
"A 30+ year career in automotive film making has provided many thrills and spills and stories you couldn’t make up.  And, of course, the current magnus opus is another fascinating chapter."

His presentation will also include some exclusive excerpts from the film, targeted for a premier at the Turin Film Festival later this year.

We can also announce that John Simister, renowned motoring journalist from titles including Autocar & Motor, Performance Car, What Car?, Car, The Independent, Octane and Practical Classics, will be joining us for the Sunday festival and helping to judge the Concours.

Time to dig out that polish!

Hi Mark,

Hope you are well.

Regarding this years National Rally (not AGM ! )
Would you like me to bring the trophies that I won last year along on the day or would you prefer me to post them to you. I can of course drop them round to Tim Heath if you are going to see him beforehand.

Just let me know and I’ll go along with whatever you decide.

Look forward to seeing you in July.

Regards,

Bob

I am unlikely to see Mark. Trophies should be returned to Robin Lacey preferably. Tim

Good turnout today despite the rain after lunch. Great to put names to faces and chat about the cars.
Convoyed all the way back with the red Delta quattro H plate to junction 3 M50 through some heavy traffic and rain.

A great weekend with great people and Lancias of nearly every flavour.

Hats of to Mark Hall and Jo Hall and the myriad of volunteers behind the scenes to create a memorable event. Roll on next year!!!

I agree with Tim, a great day despite the weather which provided a horrible drive home but kept me busy today cleaning the Flavia !
Well done to all of the organizers.

I'm not sure how many of my fellow Stratos replica owners are members of the LMC so I'd just like to take the opportunity to say thank you to everyone who put so much hard work into organising the event and to the LMC members who made us feel welcome. I think it was the largest turnout of Stratos replicas at any event for a couple of years. For a few of them it was a first opportunity to get to see an original Stratos stradale up close thanks to Martin Cliffe.

I hope that a few of my fellow owners have been encouraged to join the LMC now.

Really enjoyed last Sunday, great pictures and the last LMC annual meet for me was Bath University circa 1983 pre internet days.
I was in my 1600 HF in 83 KYO 5K and now in the late Stanley Sweets Fulvia Coupe S2.
