Hi Kevin.
Glad you've found the forum and have taken well to the car.
It really looks well and so much better for being out and used rather than sat in a shed.
I know I have some old pictures of the car for when I had it before I sold it to Jim, we both rated it highly and as everyone who has owned them will say, they are greatly under appreciated outside of Lancia circles but those of us that have had or still have one fully value them for what they are, a distinctive stylish and well appointed car especially when compared to contemporary cars of the era.
Plus having the same base engine as the Delta integrale 8V and the LSD give it a great turn of speed.
I have been lucky enough to own both a Dedra turbo and a Delta integrale at the same time so comparing both was easy, and some may be surprised to hear that the Dedra is the better car in pretty much every way, the Delta only wins in outright grip and handling (a road-going rally car after all) and for the dramatic, theatrical looks. The Dedra though is quieter, more comfortable, more subtle yet still sporty looking, more well appointed and more roomy.
If this is indeed your first Lancia then well done on making a great choice, it probably won't be your last!
Hope to see you and the car at the national meet next year?
