Aprilia fuel tank sender
« on: 11 May, 2026, 12:41:58 PM »
Any recommendations for who would rebuild a tank unit sender for me? I have a complete one which is scruffy but looks undisturbed, and another which has been fairly brutally dismantled, but looks nearly complete and would serve for spares.
Instrument repairer?  Electrician with a liking for small devices? Someone with patience, anyway.  Previous experience even better!

I have fettled a couple of these and wrote it up a few years ago - see page 1 of Aprilia Diary and also this link to the Cabrio pages.https://forum.lanciamc.co.uk/index.php?topic=8991.msg85629#msg85629

They are fiddly, but worth taking the time to play with it. Ultimately you may not have enough good bits, but worth a go

To pay someone commercial rates is likely to be excessive !!

Come on Tony, you can do it, you have a kitchen table and you can write it up for everyone afterwards.
