Valve Clearances
« on: 05 June, 2026, 10:57:33 PM »
Does anyone have information on valve clearances for a 3B 2.8 litre engine?
I found 20 inlet and 30mm exhaust for GT, Sport and convertible but I think this is for the 2.5. Is the 2.8 different?

Rob,
Page 3 of Lancia 'Sketch S510I' has the following: Engine 823.100 - 826.100 Intake 0.20mm, Exhaust 0.30mm. The 2.8 litre 3B engine is 826.030 which I guess is included in this range although it is not absolutely categorical.

Thanks Willo. This sheet includes info as late as 1967 and as you say appears to include 826.030. I think I will go with 20 and 30mm and see how it goes.  IT would seem to make sense for the 3 B to be the same as 3C since relatively speaking these ar e the higher performance engines.
It will be  interesting to see what the last guy thought it was......
