Wind deflectors

Took the VIIth tourer out today and was somewhat bothered by wind in my eyes, coming round the side of the screen.      I looked up wind deflectors in vintagecarparts and found them to be £100 each which seems a lot for something that will probably not fit either.   I have seen cloth/celluloid deflectors on some Lambdas, perhaps made specially.   As I have a nephew who can do such things extremely well, I wonder if anyone had a design or at least a photo to show me?    Neater than just using the side screens anyway.

The sidescreens fitted to my Lambda were triangular versions of the original factory type, although I had them made with a flap of material that tucked in behind the windscreen rather than fixing them to the front of the windscreen as per the original.
They work very well and do not impede your field of vision at all. Most of the regularly used Australian cars are fitted with a variation on the theme.
