Clutch Pedal; How heavy is yours?
« on: 19 August, 2023, 08:13:33 AM »
As in the thread title, how much of a push does your clutch pedal require? Mine is definitely a heavy old thing and has been all the time I have owned it. It has had the clutch replaced at Omicron (on account of normal wear, not because of pedal feel) and it was just the same afterwards.
I'm probably worrying about nothing, but I have horrible visions of the bracket on the steering column fracturing where the pedal pivots on it.

If Omicron replaced the clutch I would have thought that they would have checked the pedal load?
Does the pedal assembly or clutch cable (if it has one?) need lubrication?
If its a cable operated clutch, then disconnect it and see what the pedal is like when not under load maybe.
