Hmm, out of the blue a new project arrived...
It's a 4th series, and as opposed to my usual project condition, this one still looks like a car!
So the aim is to (for now) give it a full mechanical makeover, but keep the body as much as possible 'as is'
Plenty of over restored Aurelia's out there already IMO.
The car has been standing since before i was born and some bits have been lost...
So here's the wish list:
1 4th series windscreen (tinted green) (original is quite badly damaged from worn wipers
2 Original air filter box
3 backup light lens
4 rear bumper side parts (the originals are present but won't clean up well, and re-chrome would not fit the condition of the car, so looking for reasonable original ones...
5 if feasable a grille in good usable original condition (same story as item 4)
6 spare wheel
7 no priority but a Period Nardi steering wheel is a huge upgrade for thes cars, just don't like the original black steering wheel's looks...
If anyone can inform me on the correct front direction indicators for a 4th series a pic would be welcome!
