Separate downloads section on forum?

Hi

Something which I have been looking at on the Beta forum is a separate downloads section where you can upload any documents or articles which can then be viewed and downloaded in a structured manner, such as having separate sections for say different models and sub sections such as wiring etc.

I think this would be an easier way of finding items rather than having to do a search through individual posts.

Please let me know if you think this would be useful add on for the forum.
