Not sure if this has been posted before. I acquired it a while ago and spotted it again when looking for something else - often the case

It looks like an S2 berlina but could be an S1 Lusso ?

Sent in September 1952, when I presume Aprilias were quite common still. showing the Italian/French border crossing near Menton. I seem to remember pre-Europe Union days when the crossing here took ages because every car was checked, boot opened etc etc and sometimes you had to take your passport into the hall for checking

I think that it's also the crossing in "Day of the Jackal" where the Jackal crosses in his Alfa spyder
