1964Flavia Vignale Convertible from "Bangers and Cash"
« on: 14 January, 2026, 12:05:05 PM »
I have bought this car in pieces, as its the first Lancia I have restored, I need help
Does anyone own this model and are they willing to answer my questions
or does anyone have pictures of its parts
I have many bits  in boxes that I do not recognise
I have a parts book but it is not a lot of help, and I can't find restoration books
any assistance would be appreciated
Its not as easy as my Triumphs, but someone had to take it on
Derek said it was me

thanks Chris

If you do Face book there's a Flaminia & Flavia page that might prove helpful and there is a Flavia advisor listed in the back of the club magazine.

There is also a workshop manual... it's helpful but not quite as "step by step" as you might want. Useful tho.

I have owned one since 1973 so fairly familiar with the most parts.
Send some photos and let me look.
Cheers

How are your seats? I had some Flaminia parts from someone near Wellingborough and included in the job lot he was trying to clear were what I reckoned were a decent pair of Flavia Vignale front seats. I could find details if that's any help.

If those seats are in the original darkish red vinyl then I am interested in buying them (standing in line to do so, of course). My original ones are not good (structurally and the skin) and I don't want to retrim when the rest of the original interior is nicely worn in!

Good afternoon,
Are these seats still available please?  They look the same as for the PF Coupe?

I think PF Coupe seats have vertical ribbing on the seats not horizontal and have a more rounded top. When I was collecting the carburettor that I bought the seats struck me as very definitely the Vignale pattern. There were some Fulvia bits too but the vendor didn't seem interested in identifying exactly what he had and marketing it all properly. He was lust trying to clear stuff his late father had accumulated.

My reference was to an expired e-bay listing which is now marked as "sold" so I don't have any further information.

Thanks for the response, and of course I should have noticed the ribbing was different.
