As advertised in VL in the JAnuary Issue the above event is being stagesd on it normal weekend to run for 2 days this year instead of the 3 as the Bank hoilday has been moved from this weekend.

The Club has been offered a maximum of 30 tickets which covers the 2 day for a car and a driver, with parking on Colin Chapman Way which is between Clearways and the start/finishing Lline. Passenger tickets are from £17 for 1 day and £27 for both avaialble from the organisers www.motorsportvision.co.uk or phone 0870 950 9000

On Saturday we have been offered an escorted lap around the GP track at lunchtime.

The event has racing for pre 66 F1 cars, and F1 car though the years inc C & D types, Astons, Maserati & S Sports.

Anyone interested please contact me by May 1st stating if you would like to go round the track by May 1st. So far I have 1 taker.

how about photo copies incase my license is not returned by the DVLA in time?I will be sending it to the DVLA as the photo part has expired now that ten years have passed. there can be £1000 fine ? for failng to surrender the expired license.richard

A lovely day at Brands today, 3 club members and cars, a rare treat a LC2 on track and in the afternoon it won its race in a CamAm event, with a variety of other competitors.

Glad it was a good day!Kim and I should be at the circuit tomorrow at 10.00 or soon after.will bring the sedan all being well as the PF is not quite ready yet.it is amazing to think the PF should be able to participate in the parade next time round.richard
