I verified the car some 12 months ago. It was an 1800 I think and was tempted but not at the time in the mood for another resto.
Certainly the sills would have need to be done and the whole car needed careful refinishing. A lot of the alloy trim had significant corrosion. And the engine hadnt turned since 1977 nor had the wheels. It would be a good buy for someone for sure. Love to know the price paid...
I caught the bug and bought a good Vignale in Belgium but it was RHD and a UK car..... They are great summer picnic cars!
